On Café Solo 2 Jose steps up the game with a mix of cutting edge sounds from Gui Boratto, Per Lindstromm with some fantastic contemporary tracks from the likes of Thievery Corporation, Chilled By Nature (Big Chill’s Pete Lawrence), Chateau Flight, rubbing shoulders alongside classics by Mercury Rev, Brazilian samba jazz act Azymuth and Daniel Ash’s little-known Tones On Tail project from the 1980s with the majestic dubbed up “Lions”.
